There are three ways to find a mountain guide:
Often our corresponding national IFMGA member associations provide a list of active mountain guides in their association.
You may seek out a mountain guide agency, an alpine center or a mountain guide office in your region of interest.
Many alpine schools offer mountain excursions in their region with IFMGA mountain guides.
It is highly recommended that the mountain guide you choose has attended the entire IFMGA training according to the standards outlined in our Platform. Look for the IFMGA / UIAGM / IVBV international mountain guide badge as proof of training. Every IFMGA mountain guide carries an official IFMGA membership card
